The 25-year-old artist performed her hit “Savage” from the desert alongside a host of backup dancers. She wore a bondage-inspired leather bra and tailored hot pants by Ashton Michael, known for her appearance on Netflix’s “Next in Fashion”. (Michael has also created looks on stage for characters like Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Camila Cabello, and Beyoncé.)
For the shoe, Megan Thee Stallion selected desert-ready boots with a trendy tongue sole. The lace-up silhouette rose to the knee.
On the virtual red carpet at the BET Awards, Megan Thee Stallion made a grayscale sensation. She selected the brand’s Velvet Top and Velvet Dip Skirt, the former of which costs $ 30 and the latter of which sells for $ 95 on the brand’s site. The hip-hop star’s footwear was not easily visible.

She took home two trophies, won the Viewer Choice Award for her “Hot Girl Summer” video, and was honored as Hip-Hop Female Artist of the Year. Megan Thee Stallion was one of several bold names featured in last night’s broadcast, which also featured performances by Chloe x Halle, Usher, and Alicia Keys, to name a few.
