Megan Thee Stallion underwent surgery for a rifle shooter, and shrapnel was removed from her left hook in the hours after she says she was shot in the Hollywood Hills last month after a night of parties, shows show.
More details about the incident appeared Friday, a day after Stallion for the first time, via her Instagram Live account, said her fellow hip-hop artist the tractor that left her injured on July 12th.
Medical records now in authorities show that the rapper, who was born Megan Pete, underwent a surgical procedure to remove a foreign object from her heel hours after the shooting. She had a wound of 4 cm by 4 cm, the records show.
The “WAP” and “Savage” was quickly treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She reported that she “felt pain in both feet.”
With the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office considering whether to file firearms cases against Lanez, Stallion said it was time for him to allow himself to be shot.

She acknowledged that when police first responded to a report of a shooting and found the two recording artists outside an SUV, they did not tell the responding officers that she had been hit because she was afraid of the legal consequences and was scared for their safety.
“I did not tell the police anything because I did not want us to get into any more trouble,” she said in the video, explaining that she was afraid the police would be shot when they heard a gun in the car. She also said she wanted to spare Lanez the trouble and not explain how she was injured. At first, she told officials she thought it was cutting a glass, and did not realize the nature of the wound. She was barefoot at the time of the incident after a night of partying.
Lanez was arrested on suspicion of possession of a concealed weapon after the car in which he was sitting was stopped by the LAPD. Video of the scene showed Lanez and Stallion limping on foot. Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, was released on bail.
LA County prosecutors on July 24 received a criminal attack with an LAPD firearms investigation, but sent it back for further investigation.
The 28-year-old rapper has not made any statements about the incident. But Stallion said in her remarks that she believed his publicist and people had lied about the incident to clear guilt.
Stallion, her friend Lanez and his security guard were in an SUV after a party at a home owned by Kylie Jenner in the early hours of July 12, when the female rapper from Houston said an argument erupted and she decided that she had enough and went out to run away. She said she was minutes from the house where she was staying. She then claimed that when she left, her fellow artist on her lap from the back seat. ‘You shot me. I was not cut by any glass. But I’m telling you why they say that. ‘
On that night in July, LA police officers swung the 1800 block of Nichols Canyon at 4:30 a.m. after receiving a report of gunfire. According to the LAPD, “witnesses to the incident provided a description of a suspect (s) and their car.” Officers stopped a car according to the description, arrested several people and eventually arrested Lanez, according to a statement.
In a video of the aftermath, both Lanez and Stallion can be seen in handcuffs as officers try to determine what happened.
Without naming the female rapper, the LAPD said one person was taken to hospital “with a foot injury”.
Stallion in the follow-up repeatedly said she expected them to fully recover, but she said in subsequent posts that the shooting and the next operation were “super scary” and “the worst experience of my life”, and she felt blessed that it gun hit where it did.
On Wednesday, Stallion posted – and then deleted – a picture on Instagram that she said showed the result she was shot. “Why would I suffer to be shot,” Stallion said in a blunt post in response to comments that questioned whether she was really hurt. She said she “underwent an operation to remove the bullets.”
She had until Thursday avoided appointing Lanez as her striker even in interviews. But then she accused him of lying to hide the episode and accused him of getting allies on social media to drag her down.
