The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery draw has gone up to $ 49 million with a cash option of $ 38.9 million.
The winning numbers were: 11, 15, 31, 42, and 63. The Mega Ball draw was 14 with a Megaplier of 2x.
No one across the country hit the $ 40 million jackpot on Tuesday. There were also no second prize $ 1 million tickets sold. In New Jersey, a $ 10,000 prize for third prizes corresponding to four numbers plus the Mega Ball was purchased at Valley Discount on Chews Landing Road in Lindenwold, New Jersey Lottery officials said.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 4, 18, 26, 27, en 58. The Mega Ball was signed 23 with a Megaplier of 4x.
Someone who bought a ticket in California for the July 24 draw won a $ 22 million jackpot.
Mega Millions tickets cost $ 2 each and in New Jersey must be purchased at 10:45 p.m. on the evening of the drawing. The chances of a ticket hitting the jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 shots to win the second prize of at least $ 1 million by five numbers to match.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington DC and the US Virgin Islands.
The New Jersey Lottery Office in Lawrence will remain closed until at least August 31st due to COVID-19 and will not accept any lawsuit claims. You can still win your winnings – provided they are less than $ 599.50 – personally at each retailer.
The lottery also accepts email requests, though officials warn that payments may be temporarily delayed. Winners are advised to make copies of the promotion form and the winning ticket for their records.
