MCU’s Spider-Man might start to feel like Spider-Man fans know and love

As successful as the Tom Holland era of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are arguing that it was a far cry from traditional stories. While everyone realizes that MCU movies had to deviate from the usual to stay cool, many miss some of the key characters from Spider-Man comics, TV shows, and past movies.

Recent fan discussions say the MCU version has ruined the vibe of what makes Spider-Man great. To show that maybe Marvel reads fan boards, the next Spider man 3 It can get a little better in the old school fan service.

Part of this comes in including J. Jonah Jameson at the end of Spider-Man: away from home.

Not all fans love Spider-Man’s connection to Iron Man

It was more than obvious that Tony Stark was hired by Uncle Ben after having two different variations on the last character in previous movies. For the most part, it worked convincingly, if not excellently. However, some fans disagree when looking back.

On Reddit, this discussion turned into a heated debate over whether the Tom Holland era ruined Spider-Man that many grew up with for years. A fan started the opening thread: “Tony Stark is always responsible for Spiderman villains, which is a horrible idea and a horrible execution.”

Other arguments postulated that it was a mistake for Spider-Man to wear some of the Iron Man suits when the original Spidey would always design his own outfit. Also, some suggest the message is a bit confusing, as in Peter Parker following in the footsteps of Iron Man, but he is told to go his own way.

In the larger image, this could be seen as a trap. Considering Holland is such a good actor, he made these movies better than they could have been with anyone else. However, deviating from the original concepts was probably a ruse for more classic stories later.

Bringing J. Jonah Jameson you can take straight from the comics

J. Jonah Jameson’s surprise cameo (played by JK Simmons) took everyone by surprise during Far from home final. His appearance also sets up a huge battle between Jameson and Parker, something that once played out in a famous comic book story.

If the rumors continue, Parker will sue Jameson in Spider man 3 for defamation, then I could follow the story taken from a She hulk comic book history in 2004, according to Polygon. In this story, Jameson confronts Parker in a court battle, becoming a broader examination of notables taking slanderous tabloid posts.

Since Parker is now exposed at the end of Far from home, The above story seems set with Jameson receiving a manipulated video of Spider-Man via Mysterio. Having a protracted battle with Jameson for the first time in the Tom Holland era would really take things back to the old days.

The most important question is, Spider man 3 Go beyond just having JJJ in the story and go back to other familiar elements?

What about MJ and maybe Uncle Ben?

As one Reddit user previously mentioned about MJ: “She is not the same as the MJ comic. I am patiently waiting for the next movie to learn more about how to get her powers and what about Uncle Ben … “

Some media analysts like one from Screen Rant have already opted for the possibility of MJ being Firestar instead of Mary Jane that everyone knows about Spider-Man. Even this would go back to old animated stories of Firestar flirting and interacting with Spider-Man on Saturday morning television in the early 1980s.

Still, others at Screen Crush think Uncle Ben could influence future Spider-Man movies with Holland more. Considering that Ben was only mentioned very briefly (with little to go on regarding what happened to him), there is every possibility that it will somehow appear.

What if he never really died and walked away from middle-aged Aunt May? What if the MCU has an ace up their sleeve to make Happy Hogan the new uncle?
