– On the last night SmackDown, “King” Baron Corbin picked up and lost to Sheamus, thanks in part to a distraction by Matt Riddle. Corbin and Riddle have been at odds for weeks, but Riddle says Corbin’s focus should have remained with the opponent who was set before him.
“I think it’s safe to say I’m in King’s head,” Riddle said. “You know what? For all the mind games he’s played with the bounty on my head and everything, I think it’s justice, sweet justice, for him to get the brogue kick and lose the game tonight. You could say it’s my fault, but maybe if he was not so distracted and kept the prize, he would not have lost the night.That’s up to him, I was just there to support Sheamus, he is a good bro. ”

– Earlier this week on NXT, Dakota defeated Kai Rhea Ripley to become the new number one candidate for the NXT Women’s Championship. Kai is set against Io Shirai for the title TakeOver: XXX on August 22nd. During Ripley’s match, Kai bled her nose, which Ripley spoke of (along with not making it Take over) in the video below.
“My big noggin went straight into Dakota Kai’s leg and it just started to bleed everywhere,” Ripley said.
