Matt Coral for Oat Miss vs Florida is expected to start with QB

His former Florida commitment to upset the No. 5 Gators on Saturday morning at Flor Xford will be at the forefront of the search for Miss Ole.

Matt Coral, Rebels, who is committed to Florida for five months in 2017, is expected to have an early quarterback vs. Gators, sources told AL.com.

Redshirt Sophomore, the former top 65 overall recruit who started the first four games last season for the last Le Miss, competed with Sophomore John Rhys Plumley for the rebels starting the QB job.

It looks like Coral won’t be the only quarterback to play for the Ole Miss against Florida. Plumley, who started the final eight games for the rebels last year, is also expected to have time to play, sources said.

One of the most dangerous runners in the country in the quarterback position, Plumley finished last season with 1,023 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. However, Coral is more pro-style and ranked as the fourth-best pro-style quarterback in the 2017 recruitment category, according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.

The game against Florida will first be Ole Miss with Lane Kiffin as its head coach. According to Vegas Insider, the Rebels enter the matchup as a 14-point underdog.
