Liverpool are set to receive newly promoted Leeds United on the first day of the 2020/21 Premier League season.
The defending champions will be hoping to get off to a flying start at Anfield against their historic rivals on September 12, as only one team has ever lost the first match of a new campaign and went on to win the title.
Premier League chiefs released the full fixture list on Thursday morning to give Jurgen Klopp and the other 19 managers in the top flight an idea of their full fixtures for next term.
The Reds have a difficult start to the new season with their first five games coming up against Leeds, Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa for a derby against Everton at Goodison Park.
Over Christmas, which is traditionally the busiest time of the year for football clubs, Liverpool will take over at Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, West Brom and Southampton on 16, 19, 26, 28 and 2 January respectively.
And as the campaign draws to a close, Klopp’s men see what looks like a soft run, depending on what happens in the term, with their last three matches being played against West Brom, Burnley and Crystal Palace.
A full month at the start of this season has been lost due to the coronavirus pandemic and as such, the first match of the new term will take place over the weekend of September 12th.

Premier League teams competing in Europe next season will not have a reserve midweek until the Carabao Cup quarter-final on December 22, with the Champions League and Europa League stages played over six consecutive midweek runs from October to with December.
