A massive search is underway in a forest reservation in Chicago for a United Airlines executive who went missing more than a week after jogging out.
Jake Cefolia, who is senior vice president of global sales for United Airlines, was last seen on August 6th.
The 49-year-old, who is believed to be a father of two, went missing two days later.
Police said they managed to find his car at the Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve in downtown Chicago.
A search team consisted of 100 volunteers and K-9 units searched the park over the weekend.
Search over the weekend yielded no answers, authorities say.
They plan to look for the preserve today.

“He ran normally, we have a 9 or 10 mile run here at the Forest Preserve, that he is an athletic 49-year-old gentleman,” Forest Preserve District of DuPage County Chief David Peterson told ABC 7.
“We do not know for sure that he is still in the forest protection, but at this point there was no contact with family or friends.”
United Airlines said they had been in contact with the Cefolia family and assisted police with their investigation.
‘Our friend and colleague, Jake Cefolia, SVP of global sales, was last seen on Thursday evening 6 August. We are concerned about his well-being and have been in contact with Jake’s family over the past few days to offer them our support. At the request of the family, we will not release any further details at this time, ‘the airline said in a statement.
“We have also been in contact with law enforcement and expressed our desire to do everything we can to help them because they are having trouble finding Jake.”
Cefolia has been working with United since 2015 and in 2018 adopted its executive position for sales worldwide.
