Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition documents five celebrity couples trying to solve a variety of relationship problems. This season stars several high-profile stars, many of whom are no strangers to reality television. There has already been a major altercation between Willie Taylor and De’Von Waller. But a scene from an upcoming episode that features Vado violently attacking his girlfriend Tahiry Jose has fans upset.

José and Vado are public figures. José is a former model and star of Love and Hip Hop New York. Vado is a rapper who has song credits with rapper Camron and DJ Kahled. The couple defines the state of their relationship as a “situation”.

The two are Harlem natives who grew up together. After a 10-year friendship, they admit to becoming “friends with benefits.” They both developed romantic feelings for each other, but are having a hard time navigating their relationship. It is unclear how long they have been dating.
According to Vado, José has trust problems from previous relationships. José dated rapper-turned-podcast host Joe Budden for almost a decade. She rejected Budden’s flamboyant proposal and the two were separated forever.
José says that Vado lacks maturity. She also accuses him of having feelings for an ex. Another concern for José revolves around Vado’s finances. In a confessional, she says Vado is the “grossest” man she’s ever been with.
Vado is often discouraged by José and accuses her of having a negative attitude. She trusts her ex about her relationship with José because she says he can freely vent with her, frustrating José.

In a clip for an upcoming episode of Boot Camp of marriageJosé explains his frustrations at feeling like the villain in their relationship. Out of nowhere, Vado jumps violently and drowns José, causing Dr. Ish to contain him. The camera cuts off José, who is sitting expressionlessly with an embarrassed smile on his face.

Vado turned to Instagram to blame the clip edit and wrote, “No one was hit.” In the video, Vado accuses José of throwing apples at his head, causing his reaction.
José is still shocked by the experience, as he explains in his Instagram post. It also denies that the scene is poorly edited or written.
“Let me be CLEAR to all the people who say this was ‘programmed’. It is NOT! As a woman who has already suffered physical abuse at the hands of a man, why would you want to relive that? There is no check big enough. so that I NEVER play like this ”, he writes.
Fans React To Vado Attacking Tahiry In ‘Marriage Boot Camp’
Until the videos are aired, viewers aren’t sure what led to the attack, but they’re not buying Vado’s account and criticizing him for laying hands on a woman. Social media users wonder if the attack was the first time that Vado hit José.
“I was too comfortable. This was not the first time, ”commented one on Instagram.
“His reaction shows that this is normal behavior. But first you will have to want to save yourself, “wrote another on Instagram.
“If this is how he acts on camera, I can imagine how he is behind closed doors,” said another.
“Vado is still trying to justify why he grabbed Tahiry, etc. Sir, she didn’t lift a finger. You are a striking woman, PeriodT. Too easy for you to get mad and grab her like that, ”wrote one on Twitter.
Vado is now apologizing for his actions, admitting that he “lost his cool.”
Boot Camp of marriage airs on We TV Thursday at 9 p.m. EST.
