Breaking news
“Greetings. Welcome to the Death Star, where our opponent’s dreams die.”
Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis gave a helluva pump-up attack before the first rehearsal at the new Allegiant Stadium on Friday … introduced the team’s state-of-the-art facility and revealed its official ‘Star Wars’ themed nickname.
“My father always said that the greatness of the Raiders is in the future. Well, today that future really begins.”
Of course, Friday marked the first time the team practiced in the new stadium … which, perhaps we should add, is really badass.
Davis struck the players with some inspiring words and a number of clichés … but in general the boys need to be jacked to play in this thing.
The NFL owner said the stadium was “built on the backs of thousands of players coaches, administrators and fans, who have proudly worn the Silver and Blacks over the past 60 years … add,” This is our field of dreams. This is our house. “
“The personality of the stadium will be defined by you, so be proud every time you step on this field with those famous black jerseys and silver helmets. You are the Raiders. There will be many personal achievements here in this field. . “

@Raiders
There’s more … it’s good stuff !!!
“Someone in this field today will take the first approach, someone will score the first touchdown and someone will make the first interception, but most importantly … that’s what we do as a team.”
What sucks is that fans can not experience the epic Death Star until next season (maybe) … but at least the games are scheduled to happen on location in 2020.
And, in true Raider fashion … Davis ended his speech with some very famous words – “Just win, baby. Welcome home.”
