Georgia Republicans, backed by President Donald Trump, had previously embraced the QN conspiracy theory and have a history of Islamophobic and bigotry remarks on social media. The Green Republican is elected to Congress this fall after winning a Republican primary in the Georgia district.
Earlier Friday, Olem, who is also a Talaib Muslim, said Green’s now-defunct photo was “provocative” and called on Facebook to remove the “violent provocation.”
“Posting a photo with the ault salt rifle next to the faces of three women of color is not an advertisement. This is provocative,” the Minnesota Democrat posted.
Twitter. “There are already death threats in response to this post. Facebook should remove this violent provocation.”
Green’s campaign has hit CNN hard. “Those who believe this picture incites violence are” discreet and ridiculous, “it said in an email statement.
CNN reached out to the campaign after a picture of Facebook was removed on Friday afternoon.
Green, who is running to represent Georgia’s 14th congressional district, protested against three progressive Democratic congressional women who raped. Ayan called himself a “squad” with Presley.
“America’s hate leftists want to bring this country down,” Green wrote in her Facebook post, the second of her kind to target women in Congress in recent days. “Politicians have failed this country. I’m tired of seeing the weak, Establishment Republicans play defense. Our country is on the line. America needs truth-telling fighters.”
Last year, four Democratic congressional women – Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, Presley and Slab – targeted a controversial North Carolina billboard for a gun shop. The violence was met with a backlash as a sign of incitement and was removed.
Politico reports that Green wrote earlier on social media that Muslims are not in government, and among other provocative comments is “Islamic aggression in our government offices.”
CNN’s Kafil reports that Green’s 2017 white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, which killed a counter-protester, was an “internal job” and a debunked “pizzagate” conspiracy theory that promoted the two blogs. Democratic leaders are running a ring of human-smuggling and pedophilia as real.
Green told Fox News last month after her primary victory that once she had read and discussed Quinn’s topics, she decided to choose another path “after giving false information.” ”
