Maria Carey says her mother’s jealousy has been ‘with me all my life’


Mariah Carey was influenced by her mother’s influence as her offspring.

The 0-year-old singer has been busy in recent weeks promoting his new memoir “The Meaning of Mariah Carey”, which is set to drop tomorrow.

One of the issues she discusses in the book is her relationship with her mother, who was allegedly jealous of the up-and-coming musician.

Carrie’s mother was Patricia, a Juliard-trained opera singer.

Carrie continued, calling the relationship with unbalanced “power dynamics” “squid.”
