Marge Simpson responds to Trump adviser Jenna Ellis

Jenna Ellis, Trump campaign adviser and advocate, recently shook presumptive Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris by saying her voice sounds like the character of Marge Simpson on the long-running animated series “The Simpsons.”

On Friday, the show’s verified Twitter account tweeted a video of Marge’s response.

“I don’t normally get into politics, but former presidential adviser Jenna Ellis just said that Kamala Harris sounds to me,” the character said, explaining that Lisa, one of the children on the show, told her . “Lisa said she does not mean it as a compliment.”

Marge Simpson added that as an “ordinary front housewife” she “began to feel a little disrespected.”

“I teach my kids not to name Jenna,” Marge said. “I would say I’m pissing, but I’m afraid they will blow it.”

“The Simpsons” has parodied Donald Trump many times over the years and the show itself is sometimes credited with predicting his presidency.

Actress Julie Kavner voiced the character from the often very sweet and relaxed Marge SImpson.
