The Simpsons got a reaction to the swipe of a Trump adviser at Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s new running mate.
Jenna Ellis, senior legal adviser to the Trump campaign, tweeted Wednesday, “Kamala sounds like Marge Simpson.” Harris had made her first appearance with Biden since selecting her as a running mate.
In the show’s new post, Marge Simpson says: ‘I do not normally get into politics, but the senior adviser to President Jenna Ellis just said that Kamala Harris sounds to me? Lisa said she does not mean it as a compliment. If so, then I started to feel a little disrespectful as a regular suburban housewife. I teach my kids not to name names, Jenna. I would say I’m pissed, but I’m afraid they’ll put it out. ”
The remark about “suburban housewives” is a reference to Trump’s tweets in which he admitted that he supported them. “The ‘suburban housewife’ will vote for me. They want security and are happy that I ended the long-running program in which low-income housing would invade their neighborhood. Biden would reinstall it, in a larger form, with Corey Booker in the lead! ”
Makers ‘The Simpsons’ tell President Donald Trump that life is good in ‘America’
The Simpsons famously predicted Trump’s rise to the presidency, when in 2000 the show presented an episode ‘Bart to the Future’, a flash-forward, in which it is mentioned that Lisa Simpson had succeeded Trump in the White House.
“We’ve inherited a lot of budget cuts from a precise Trump,” Lisa says, before shouting that the “country is broken.”
That year, Trump considered a bid for the Reform Party nomination.
