Back in June, controversial German tuner and custom car builder Mansory unveiled his latest creation: a completely custom, over-the-top Ford GT with brand new body panels and 700 horsepower, limited to just three examples. The only thing we did not look for was the price of the car. Now, thanks to this listing on the German car sales site Mobile.de, we now know exactly how much this wild image of Ford’s supercar will cost: Approximately $ 2.1 million.
Named the Le Mansory – a play with the expression Le Mans – the car sports brand new carbon fiber panels formed in dubious angles, and a brand new fascia with angry looking headlights. There are also roof coverings, extensions to the side skirt, a massive wing from the back, and a tri-turn setup. The interior is equally ridiculous, with seats with two tons and what looks like acres of Alcantara. The engine body is treated to bright blue upholstery and various Mansory badges. It’s … a little much.
Of course, the changes are not all cosmetic. Le Mansory’s 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6 is tuned for 700 horsepower and 619 lb-ft of torque – elevations of 53 horsepower and 69 lb-ft over front. Those wheels? Forged articles packaged in Continental Sport Contact 6 tires. Mansory claims that the car can hit 220 mph flat.
The tuner has set its first example for sale on Mobile.de with a asking price of € 1.8 million, or $ 2,124,810, at current exchange rates. For context, these are more than four times the cost of a new, basic GT, and almost double the sample sales for the used market. While the price may seem a bit pricey, we’m sure Mansory will find someone with foreign tastes with money to blow this monstrosity.
