Manchester United – Bournemouth takes center stage on Saturday (start time, 10am ET on NBCSN and online via NBCSports.com) as the Red Devils and Cherries need a win, but for very, very different reasons, while Leicester City – Crystal Palace is a clash where both teams need to get back on track.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United are on a streak, as they are undefeated in 15 games in all competitions and are only three points away from third place. His dreams of the Champions League are on the way with Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba pulling the ropes, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood driving away opportunities and a solid defensive unit.

In contrast, Bournemouth is in free fall. Eddie Howe’s team is in the relegation zone, was beaten 4-1 at home by Newcastle midweek, has lost all three games since the restart and has a ridiculously difficult remaining schedule. Is your time in the Premier League over?

Here is the team news and everything you need to know for Manchester United – Bournemouth.

Team news

Man United has no new injury concerns with long-term absent Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones, and Solskjaer has named an unchanged side.

Bournemouth has some injury concerns and will not feature Callum Wilson, who is serving the final game of his two-game suspension. Steve Cook is injured, while Sergio Rico enters.

Leicester brings Iheanacho to start with Vardy while Brendan Rodgers mixes things up.

What they are saying

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he rotates his squad: “I have to wait and see, there is a couple that has some bruises and bruises. If there are a couple of changes, don’t be surprised just to be in shape with so many games. I have to take care of the players. It would be nice to play against a team that played so well against Sheffield United and Brighton, but let’s wait and see how everyone is after training. I have many, many reasons to play with the same team, but I have reasons to rotate. “

Eddie Howe on Steve Cook’s criticism of Bournemouth“Listen, I don’t think they are helpful to us,” the Bournemouth manager said of Cook’s comments. When it does not perform well, I think everything should be internal: it has always been the way I have worked, we keep things at home and our opinions about ourselves remain that way. When I come to the media, I have a duty to tell the truth about what I think of our performances, and I don’t think it’s healthy to see or read ourselves that way. For the collective good of the group and the club, we know that recent performances have not been good enough, I don’t think you should be too smart to figure it out. Nothing can change the past, we can only change the future and the only way we will do it is to stay together. ”

Odds and finals (full odds for the match week)

As expected, Man United is the big favorite (-625) given its recent form and Bournemouth struggles. The Cherries (+1900) won the reverse match 1-0, but Man United is a different team now and has a Plan B with Bruno Fernandes and Pogba together in the midfield. The tie at +650 is the best value bet, but it seems unlikely.

In the other game, Leicester (-148) are the favorites against Crystal Palace (+480) and the tie is +260.

Prediction

I’m going to look for a solid and consistent Man United victory here. They’ve had a busy week with the FA Cup trip to Norwich going overtime and then heading to Brighton, so I think we’ll see some new faces in the lineup. Any team Solskjaer presents will be too much for this Bournemouth team that feels sorry for themselves. Man United 3-1 Bournemouth.

As for Leicester vs. Palace, I can see the Eagles looking for a draw and getting it. 1-1.
