Performance, at least, would be similar. Both Tab S7 models reportedly feature Snapdragon 865 Plus processors, optional 5G models, a minimum of 6GB of RAM, and 128GB or more of expandable storage. You can also expect 13-megapixel main cameras and ultra-wide 5-megapixel rear cameras and very low latency S-Pens, like those rumored for the Galaxy Note 20.
Samsung may also be closer to fulfilling your dreams of turning the Galaxy Tab into a PC replacement. Both tablets can support a Wireless DeX function that saves you from having to plug it in to use it on the desktop. If you don’t need external peripherals, the keyboard cover is supposed to have a larger trackpad and full-size keys.
The images on the tablet suggest that the design will not change. Both slates would have flat metal edges and screens that hug the bezels.
It is not sure how much the new tablets would cost or how soon they could be available after unpacking. The Tab S6 started at $ 649, but it also came with a 10.5-inch AMOLED display. The change to LCD could affect prices, although we would not expect a drop in prices.
