Coronavirus has spoiled the 4th of July celebrations, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy Independence Day with fireworks.
Macy’s will present its “4th of July Macy’s Fireworks Spectacular” tonight in New York City. The booming screen will air on NBC on July 4 from 8-10 ET (7-9 ET). You can also stream it live on the NBC or Hulu app.
The event, led by John Legend, will feature fireworks with a mix of pop and patriotic music. The Killers, Lady A., Tim McGraw and Brad Paisley will also be performing. New York’s Young People’s Chorus will perform virtually “America the Beautiful” and “Lean On Me,” NBC said.
The July 4th show is the end of the week of emerging shows in all municipalities. The unannounced fireworks shows were designed to keep crowds from gathering to watch the show. The end of tonight will be over the Empire State Building.
