I put a 1991 Macintosh Quadra complete with Mac OS 8.1 in an Electron app, along with a bunch of apps and games. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux … and JavaScript. Again I am sorry.

It is actually a bit functional in terms of software. It has games and demos from a 1997 Macworld demo disc, which includes Oregon Trail, Duke Nukem 3D, Civilization II, Bowling Alley 19, Damage Incorporated and Dungeons and Dragons. There are other apps and demos too, like Photoshop 3, Premiere 4, and Illustrator 5.5.
You will not be able to connect online through the emulator, even though it includes Internet Explorer and Netscape. However, there is a way to transfer files to your new but very old operating system. You may want to get some games and applications from the Macintosh repository. Rieseberg said he was able to install Encarta on the emulator.
It doesn’t work perfectly, given the issues that other GitHub users have raised: the Civ II the demo was immediately blocked by a brave soul who tried. So you probably shouldn’t be using it for any serious purpose, but it seems like a fun memory lane trip (or in earlier times for some younger people).
