Recently, an update regarding Sanjay Dutt was not well received. A few reports revealed that the actor is reporting lung cancer and is currently in stage 3. The ‘Vaastav’ actor has been seen doing the rounds of the hospital to get his tests done. The actor was also admitted to Lilavati Hospital last week after he complained of breathing problems. However, it became clear that he did not suffer from COVID-19 because he was tested negative for the same.

Confirming about not keeping the actor well, Maanayata had previously updated his fans regarding his health concerns. Even Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter to share the news.

Last night, Sanjay Dutt was dragged by the paparazzi as he and his two sisters went to Kokilaben Hospital.

Now Baba’s wife, Maanayata Dutt, has released an official statement on the actor’s health. It reads, “To all the fans and wishes of Sanju, I can not begin to thank you for the love and warmth you have shown him all these years.

Sanju has been through many ups and downs in his life, but what has happened to him through every difficult phase has always been your adulation and support. And for this we will always be grateful. We are now being tested through yet another challenge, and I know the same love and warmth will see him through this time as well.

As a family, we have decided to approach this with positivity and grace. We will go our lives as normal as possible, with a smile, because this will be a tough battle and a long journey. And, we must do this for Sanju, without any negativity.

During these trying times, I have unfortunately not been by his side in the hospital, due to my quarantine at home ending in a few days. Each battle has a torchbearer and one who holds the fort. Priya, who has worked extensively for over two decades with our family-run Cancer Foundation, and who has also seen her mother fight this disease, has been our incredible torchbearer while I will keep it fort.

For those who ask, Sanju will complete his preliminary treatment in Mumbai. We will formulate further travel plans, depending on how and when the covid situation makes it easier. As of now, Sanju is in the best hands of our esteemed doctors in Kokilaben Hospital.

I ask everyone, with my full hands, to stop speculating on the stage of his illness and let the doctors continue to do their work. We will update you regularly with his progress.
