The No. 6 LSU launched its national title defense against the Mississippi State on Saturday at Death Valley on the SEC in the CBS Game of the Week. There are many new names to get acquainted with Tiger, including quarterback Miles Brennan and defensive coordinator Bo Pellini. When the two-depth depth chart came out this week, only five players combined on offense and defense were listed as a returning starter for coach Ed Orejron in Bold. Simply put, this is a season of mystery for an event that has raw talent at or near the top of the SEC each season.
The Mississippi State went through a period of change. Coach Mo Moherhead was let go after the end of the season and was always replaced by the entertaining Mike Leach. The man is credited with increasing the spread of crime since 2001-19-1, after a successful stint in Washington, D.C., in Starkville, Mississippi. He also brought West Coast quarterback to the field. X-Stanford starter KJ Costello will take pictures for the new look, the Air-Raid Bulldogs.

If this crime is going to click, it will be up to those people to make it happen.
It looks like a medium-sized village of defensive players has left the Tigers, but Cornbacker Derek Stingley, Jr. and safety Jacobi Stevens return to “DBU” to stabilize the rear end. Against the mystery. Tyler Shelvin, the lone starter to return in the next seven, was selected shortly before the start of the season. He leaves 4-6 defenses in search of Pellini and her new superstar.
Mississippi State: Leach and Costello have one of the best players in the country to support … Kylen Hill run back. The senior passed over the NFL to try to get his home-state Bulldogs back into controversy. It will be interesting to see how Leach uses it. It has already proven to be a top tire power back. But Leach usually uses his running back to run as much as the receivers. Hill may have to do that, even if he doesn’t want to think the Bulldogs have no outside experience.
Defensive linemen Kobe Jones and linebacker Errol Thompson bring plenty of success to the unit operated by Zack Arnett. But what’s the point? That safety can rely on Marcus Murphy, who will join the whole field. If Arnett can oppose the invading coordinators requesting, the Bulldogs could join the top defenses of the conference.

This one won’t be close. Leach’s aggressive system just won’t work in the SEC. Size and speed in the middle of LSU’s defense – although most players are unofficial – will use Mississippi State’s offensive line that puts more emphasis on distance and speed rather than size and strength. Moreover, the passing game will not have a chance against Stingley, Stevens and the rest of the talented secondary. Take the tiger and put those issues. Pick: LSU (-16.5)
