Chappelle’s comedy series has been one of the only successful live shows to take place in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, as most live venues, bars and theaters are still open or operating under strict social distancing. rules. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chappelle is only able to tackle his “Summer Camp” because of a close relationship with the Ohio driver and the Greene County zoning plan.
The outlet reports that a strict system of safety protocols such as temperature controls, socially distant seating, working with neighbors over noise, and other measures have been followed by the cabaret performer and his guests allowing things to operate.
