The winning numbers for tonight’s lottery draw are 2, 15, 19, 33, 37, 43 and the bonus ball is 12)
The winning Thunderball numbers are 11, 15, 29, 38, 39 and thunderball is 8)
The biggest Lottery winner was created in April 2016, when an anonymous player deposited £ 35 million.
In January 2016, two ticket holders left with £ 33 million each.
Prior to that, in January 1996 a £ 42,008,610 Lotto game jackpot was raffled and split between three anonymous winners, each of whom received £ 14,002,870.

The UK National Lottery was first held on November 19, 1994.
Half of all the money spent by players goes to the prize fund, with 28 percent for just cause, 12 percent to the government as a tax, and 5 percent to retailers.
