Lori Loughlin: Federal prosecutors urge judge to accept actress’s prison deal

Prosecutors on Monday urged a judge to accept acceptances that would serve Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli time in jail for their involvement in the college admission scandal.

The “Full House” alum would serve two months in prison, while her designer husband would serve five months.

The couple pleaded guilty in May to paying $ 500,000 to get their two daughters to the University of Southern California as crew recruits, even though no girl was a rower.

At the time of their pleadings, a judge still refused to accept the deals that included the time of jail time.

The sentencing hearings are scheduled for Friday.

In court prosecutors, prosecutors said the alleged sentences were similar to those committed by other high-profile parents caught in the scandal, while still punishing them for their “repeated and deliberate conduct and behavior” and the couple’s decision to to allow their children into crime. “

Giannulli, 57, was called “the more active participant in the scheme” by prosecutors, who noted that Loughlin, 56, “took a less active role but was nevertheless completely complicated.”

The judge said he would announce if he accepts or rejects the agreements at the brain of the verdict. If he accepts the deals, he will not be able to change the prison sentences because they are built in Loughlin and Giannullis lawsuits.

In addition to the time of jail time, if the deals are accepted, Giannulli will pay $ 250,000 and serve 250 hours of community service, while Loughlin will pay $ 150,000 and perform 100 hours of community service.

Actress Felicity Huffman was also caught in the scandal and served just under two weeks in prison last year after she was allowed to pay $ 15,000 to improve her answers to her daughter’s entrance exams. No charges were filed against Huffman’s husband, actor William H. Macy.
