Lorenzo Teleifero of East Baltimore Ravens dies at 28

Lorenzo Teleiafero died Wednesday in his hometown of Williamsburg, Virginia, according to the York-Pok Officemon Sheriff’s Office. He was 28 years old.

At 3:30 p.m., Eta was rushed to Riverside Doctors Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A family member told WBFF-TV Fox 45 in Baltimore that Taliafero had died of a heart attack.

A fourth-round draft pick was taken by Baltimore in 2014, with Telefero recording five touchdowns in 19 games for the Ravens from 2014 to 2016. He struggled to stay on the field, and ended each of his three seasons on the injured reserve.

Telefero’s career in Baltimore began from scratch. Three weeks after being drafted by the Ravens, Telefebro was arrested in Williamsburg for allegedly behaving by breaking the telefebro window and being drunk in public. In his first practice since then, Telefero has run 18 gassers with Ravens coach John Harbo as punishment.

In his third NFL game, Telefero reached a career-high 91 yards with a 23-21 victory over Cleveland.

“I did everything I could to prepare for the whole week and make sure I was ready when my name was called,” Telefero said after the game.

In 2017, Telefero was switched to fullback but was pardoned before the start of the regular season. After a year of football, he tried to make it in 2018 as a defensive player with the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats, but cut it off after the predecessor.

Before joining Ravens, Telefero was a different one in Coastal Carolina. In 2013, he ran for 1,729 yards and 27 touchdowns and was named the Big South Off Fashion Player of the Year.
