‘Looks like they were trying to lose’: Jets ‘Adam Gas, Greg Williams crushed by NBC Sports’ Rodney Harrison, Tony Dungey

Leave it on the New York Jets to steal defeat from the jaws of victory.

What else can you say after watching the last-second, 31-28 win of the Gits gift-wrap for the Las Vegas Riders on Sunday at MetLife Stadium?

Riders quarterback Derek Carr’s 46-yard touchdown pass sent Henry Rugs a third to the Jets for their 12th straight loss this season.

Cars Throw was a perfect replica of the Jets ‘defensive coordinator Greg Williams’ blitz call, leaving Rookie Cornbark Lamar Jackson on the island in front of Rugs.

After the game, NBC Sports NFL analysts slammed Rodney Harrison, two-time Super Bowl champion, and famed Tony Dungey’s pro footballer, Football Hall of Fame, Williams and Jets head coach Adam Gass. Per NBC Sports PR:

Canoe on the final game of the game: “You can’t do Blizzard here right now, can you? Leaving your corner one by one, are you kidding me? “

Sims: “Why is the corner jumping down the road?”

Dungi: “Why are they one after another?”

Dundee from Harrison on an all-out blitz call by defensive coordinator Greg Williams, handing out a game-winning TD pass.: “If you’re Adam Gas, would you overthrow him?”

Dungi: “You practice before it ever happens … as you know, your Friday practice, your Saturday practice, ‘Hey, here’s the last game of the game. How do we play it?’ It was incredible.”

Harrison: “It looked like they were trying to lose to get the number one (draft) pick.”

Harrison: “They better enjoy that I don’t own jets. Both Greg Williams and Adam Gas will be unemployed (Monday). “

Former Jets quarterback and current WFN host Boomer Eisen reached a similar conclusion when discussing the game on CBS. From WFN:

“I have a headache about this … the fact that Greg Williams will play that coverage in that situation? It’s almost like drawing jets like losing a game. “

If Williams and Gas manage to keep their jobs, they will visit the Seattle Seahawks 8-4 on Sunday.
