Logitech MX Anywhere 3 Review: Best done small

Logitech’s MX Anywhere 3 is the sequel to the recently released MX Anywhere 2S since 2017, and the younger brother of MX Master 3, one of the best rats around. It’s small, designed for travel, and serves as an almost perfect compact mouse for anyone who wants to be a little more productive at home or on the go.

Logitech’s M99 MX Master 3 is best known for its fantastic scroll wheel, which the company redesigned last year with a new electromagnetic scrolling system. About a year later, where 79.99 mx anywhere 3, brings the same system to Logitech’s small commercial mouse.

The good news is that the scroll wheel flawlessly transitions to a tiny mouse, with similar ratchetting and smooth scrolling modes that provide unique tactile feedback and let you fly through your pages or spreadsheets. MX Anywhere 3 You can also adjust the resistance, if you should give a more pronounced response.

Logitech says that the battery lasts for 70 days, the achievement I have been able to achieve in just a few weeks is not able to test, but so far, so good. Charging is done via USB-C, and connectivity can be done directly via wire, Bluetooth or Logitech’s Unified USB-A wireless dongle.

The design has also been tweaked on the new mouse to make it more comfortable to grip, button placement, and shape. It’s enjoyable to use; Side buttons directly below my thumb for easy access.

The new model also offers the option to replace one of the most missing components from a larger mouse: the lack of a secondary horizontal scroll wheel. While there is still no secondary wheel, the MX Anywhere 3 lets you hold down the side buttons at any time to scroll horizontally using the main wheel. Logitech’s Options software also includes some new application-specific software implementations, including the option to use those two side buttons as hotkeys to mute or toggle your caching in Zoom.

In fact, the only real drawback I have with the MX Anywhere 3 is that it’s not the MX Master 3, which still offers a bigger, more comfortable grip and gives it another scroll wheel for વધુ 20 more. And while the MX Anywhere 3 has an edge for portability, it’s hard to recommend a portable mouse right now given the lack of travel.

However, if you prefer a more traditional = shaped mouse, don’t mind the lost scroll wheel, or just prefer the smaller size (and price tag), the MX is hard to beat anywhere 3.
