Logic calls time in his music career: ‘It has been a great decade’


Logic is dropping the microphone.

The Maryland hip-hop artist revealed his future plans in a message of good and bad news, which surprised almost everyone.

“We officially announced my retirement with the launch of the executive ‘No Pressure’ produced by No ID on July 24 …” read a tweet from the official Logic account. “It’s been a great decade. Now is the time to be a great father.”

If he comes out, he will be at the top of his game. Rapper “Homicide” (real name Sir Robert Bryson Hall II) has three numbers 1 on the Billboard 200 and two Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. His 2017 number “1-800-273-8255” with Alessia Cara and Khalid went to number 3 and appeared as one of the “Billboard songs that defined the decade”.

Named for the best way to get to the National Suicide Prevention Line, “1-800-273-8255” garnered a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year and the rapper landed a spot performing it that night.

Logic revealed that they were expecting their first child with their then-betrothed Brittney Noell (the couple is now married after their divorce from Jessica Andrea ended), using the song platform “No Pressure” to spread the word.

“And I’m going to have a baby!” raps to the end of the title track of the new album, which came last August. “Surprise! It’s a little baby, f — TMZ, they can’t get the scoop on that s —“.

No pressure It comes out next Friday (July 24). It is the continuation of the top-chart of 2019 Confessions of a dangerous mind.
