The Giants ’training staff helped save lives on the players’ weekly day off.
Safety Logan Ryan said his wife, Ashley, went to the family’s Fisson Ason home in Florida to vote Tuesday in the presidential election after the Giants lost to Buchanan on Monday night on FootFool.
“I was leaving the stadium around 1am and she was telling me about some of the pain in her stomach,” Ryan said. “I told her I wanted her to sleep. She said she is in great pain but will wait until morning. I talked to one of our trainers about the symptoms and he said, ‘No, she needs to go [emergency room]”
Ashley followed the team’s advice and was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy, according to her husband. This condition is caused by the growth of a fertilized egg outside the female uterus and can lead to fatal bleeding.
“The egg was broken, so she ended up having emergency surgery and they saved her and stopped a lot of what was done.” “Justin Maher, one of our team’s trainers, could have saved my life by telling my wife to go to the ER at 1am – or save a lot of internal bleeding there. It’s the kind of organization here. ”
Ryans – a college ledge sweetheart who met in Rutgers, where he plays football and plays softball – has two children. They relocated to their hometown of New Jersey after Logan signed with the Giants in August Gust and the coach reunited with the same judge.
Ryan played for the Patriots from 2013-16, while the judge was an assistant coach.
“My kids are OK and my wife is doing well,” Ryan said. “If you need to go to Florida, don’t worry about football,” he said. That’s what it’s like to be a man and a coach.I know we worry about X and O and winning and losing, but there are really good people here. That’s why I came here.
“There are really good trainers here. There are really good people behind the scenes that they work hard to win, and I will do my best to play for this type of coach and for an organization like mine, because if it weren’t for that I wouldn’t ‘. T doesn’t know my wife would be here today. And, honestly I am very grateful for this organization and for the same and for everyone to understand the bigger things than football, especially this year. “
