Liverpool took control of their match with Crystal Palace at Anfield in the Premier League with goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah, but Reds fans were still frustrated to see the clash on television.
Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler was the reason why, with some Liverpool fans unhappy with his work in the first 45 minutes.
Among the complaints were that Tyler was being too negative about Liverpool and that he was too concerned to mention the three decades since the Reds last won the league title.
These were just a few of the many tweets that were posted by Liverpool fans as the first half unfolded.
@ shandyman68: Where is the audio option to turn off Martin Tyler?
@ DarkestJed1: 9 minutes passed and Martin Tyler has mentioned the words “Thirty years” at least 50 times so far …
@coldeefirst: @SkySportsNews Can I still mute Martin Tyler and keep the crowd noise please? I’m just asking about all the Liverpool fans!

@MannyBLFC: No one:
Martin Tyler every 5 minutes: thirty years!
@ Chaos10i: Take a photo every time Martin Tyler says we’ve gone 30 years without a title. Every two or three minutes he mentions it
@ Amy_Bear84: Is there a channel without Martin Tyler’s comment?
@ kalia_1989: Martin Tyler only negative comment after negative comment about us! 100% Utd fanatic no matter what you say! #LFC
@ MStevo1983: Martin Tyler: 3 times mentioned that 30 years have passed without a title, Firmino has not scored at home all year, Palace, the team that beat us last, never mentions anything positive
Salah’s goal was Liverpool’s 100th this season in all competitions.
