Under the agreement, the agency will send completed ballots to Atlanta directly to the vote-counters, do a stronger cleaning for the ballot from the wrong place, and find results every day, the Washington Post reported this week.
The deal effectively two Jan. 5 effectively avoids the main lawsuit before the election, which will determine if the party has a majority in the Senate. Plaintiffs said they would push for more operational change if the USPS continued to terminate the agreement.
The results of the two off-elections between the Georgia Republican Sense, Democratic Senate candidates John Soff and Rafael Wocknorck vs. David Perdue and Kelly Lofler, will determine which party the Senate controls in 2021.
