Little Caesars customers discover pizza with swastika made from pepperoni, involved employees laid off


A group of Little Caesars employees in Ohio were fired after an offensive anti-Semitic image was allegedly discovered on a Hot N ‘Ready pizza that a customer purchased.

Jason Laska bought a Hot N ‘Ready pepperoni pizza at a Brook Park Little Caesars restaurant over the weekend, WJW reported.

Once he got home, he told the store that his wife Misty Laska opened the box and made the surprising discovery: the pizza had a swastika symbol created from pepperoni.

Misty asked Jason if they made him the pizza, since the chain’s Hot N ‘Ready pizzas are cakes available for customers to pick up without ordering. They come in cheese and pepperoni varieties.

“It was like they didn’t cut our pizza, but then I went back a second and saw the symbol. And I looked at him and thought ‘Wait, did you have to order fresh pizza or something?’ Misty Laska told WJW.

The couple immediately contacted the restaurant, which had reportedly closed moments before. The owner of the local chain called Laskas on Sunday and confirmed to the couple that the employees had been fired. It was unclear how many employees were involved in the incident.

The owner continued by stating that the employees had somehow tried to explain the situation by stating that “it was supposed to be an inside joke. [the employees] They were playing with each other and the other employee “According to the owner, the pizza” was never intended to come out. “

The Laskas have promised never to return to the chain after the incident.

“We are the type of people who support diversity in our country, we accept it and we love it. We just want to see this hatred stop, ”Misty told WJW.

In a statement to Fox News, Little Caesars said the brand does not tolerate “racism and discrimination.”
