The inspections will monitor the regulation of visitor flows in the catering establishments, the use of staff masks, the maintenance of distances between tables, the testing of staff for strict hand hygiene and the availability of sufficient disinfectants in the catering establishments, reported SFVS.
The necessary conditions to be met by public catering establishments are specified in the decision of the Chief of Operations of the State of State Emergency of the Ministry of Health.
If the facts of non-compliance with the restrictions applied during the emergency are established at the state level, the catering company can be held administratively liable in accordance with paragraph 4 of article 45 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Lithuania. The penalties for non-compliance can range between five hundred and fifteen hundred euros for individuals and between one thousand five hundred and six thousand euros for administrators of legal persons or other responsible parties.
