According to prof. Dr. I. Janulevičienė, ophthalmic care is specialized and needs not only specialists, but also certain equipment, which is often unevenly distributed in various countries of the world. The description developed should help to plan financial resources by purchasing complex equipment, providing specialized services and interventions.

“This invitation to both the Kaunas clinics and the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences is a significant achievement in the international space: to be one of the twelve in the world, to represent the region and the institution,” says prof . Dr. I. Janulevičienė.
