This year, the traditional summer escort event, Le Dîner en Blanc, has once again invited you to an uplifting white holiday that makes you feel like you are on vacation in the south of France.

Most of the guests are regular participants of the White Dinner, who look forward to this event throughout the year. “It has already become a tradition to accompany this dinner in the summer,” said one of the guests.

“I really like gathering friends who have returned from vacation this time. It is true that this year there were no very comfortable security requirements, but the good mood of the party did not spoil it a bit ”, shared the woman who participated in the event for the fifth consecutive year his impressions of the party.

Special hours require special attention: event organizers say they have ensured the safety of all participants in accordance with requirements.

“I am glad that the COVID-19 situation in Lithuania, compared to other countries, is not really bad. The participants were aware and participated accepting all the rules of the organizers that protect their health. Be that as it may, we need to learn to live with masks, with a greater focus on hygiene, with personal awareness, because nothing is going to change during the day, and shutting down and not going anywhere is not good for our economy or our psychological well-being. People need to communicate, experiment something new and be charged with good emotions, ”said Dovilė Butkienė, the event organizer.

Restaurant consultant and sommelier Urtė Mikelevičiūtė also came to recharge the energy and good humor that a French picnic always exudes. For dinner, she chose a romantic combination of a white dress and slippers. Blogger Simona Burbaitė also paired the white silk mask with the white silk pants and jacket combo. Stylist Mantas Tautvaišas chose a stunning white suit for the event, paired with shiny leather shoes. As always, Žilvinas Grigaitis also appeared creatively at the festival. Festival participants surprised with original headdresses and masks.

The musical program was donated by the winner of the 2019 national Eurovision, Yuri Veklenko, who lifted the guests from their chairs to dance.

„The White Dinner“ Lietuvoje

The idea to organize Le Dîner en Blanc in Lithuania came from Dovile Butkiene, who worked in the field of beauty and fashion for many years. An aesthetically indifferent woman, seeing photos of a white dinner held in Paris, wanted to decorate Vilnius with this elegant event. For the first time, the team received a lot of interest and support from the public. In seven years, this event has become one of the most anticipated summer festivals in Vilnius, bringing together old friends, allowing them to meet new ones, dress up, enjoy gourmet food, and capture it in stunning photos.
