What traps did a Ukrainian prostitute fall into in Kaunas?

The Kaunas judges will have to decide whether a single man from Jonava robbed a Ukrainian who offered erotic massage services, or whether he had reason to take revenge on this client for something else.

The beginning was disappointing

“We have no reason to doubt the victim,” the prosecutor who led the pre-trial investigation carried out by the Kaunas County Police Chief Commissariat for Property Investigation told Kauno Diena.

The 33-year-old Ukrainian citizen informed the Kaunas police that on the afternoon of January 30 this year, he suffered violence from an armed robber posing as a customer immediately after the attack.

He claimed that by threatening an object similar to a firearm, he was required to hand over all the money he had. And he obeyed the opportunity to resist the thief who had been deprived of his fraud in the apartment building on Kalniečių street in this way, giving him 500 euros.

According to the victim, this happened the day after his arrival in Lithuania. After a friend whose last name she did not know, she had just posted an ad on a Lithuanian website about her intimate services.

Not everything went well

His partner, a Ukrainian company suspected of being robbed by a Ukrainian company, who had declared her place of residence in Jonava, was arrested a week later. Just returned from abroad, where you often work. For tactical reasons, MK was not detained at his place of residence, but at Kaunas – Garažų street, where he keeps his vehicle.

It is alleged that the suspect was tracked by the mobile phone from which the future victim was called and by the use of video recordings that are not directly related to the scene.

It seems to MK that this was unexpected: he refused to testify when he was detained. The investigating officers also did not find an object similar to a firearm with which the victim allegedly threatened her. Although searches were carried out in the official register of the suspect, in an old age village of Užusaliai of the Jonava district, and in an apartment in Jonava, where he has stated that he actually lives.

Confessed only in part

Although MK is not allowed to possess any weapons, law enforcement officers who prepared their case for court are more likely to believe in the competence of the victim than in the fact that they threatened her with a toy or souvenir gun.

However, in the end, a pre-trial investigation for a firearm robbery, punishable by two to ten years in prison, was reclassified as burglary, which is also punishable by imprisonment only, but up to seven. years.

The MK began to testify when the Kaunas District Court, before which he would appear soon, partially granted the prosecutor’s request to arrest him. Although it was requested for ten days, seven were allowed.

Finally, MK admitted that he was in the apartment at that time on Kalniečių street, where he was greeted by a woman who offered him erotic services. However, she denied that an armed man had invaded her and kidnapped 500 euros.

Demand version

The version provided by MK, which happened in this apartment, where he arrived after finding an ad on the Skelbiu.lt website about the erotic massage services provided, differs from the victim’s story.

He spontaneously took the first 200 euros in small bills. After which he urgently left this apartment.

The accused of robbing a prostitute claims that after contacting the author of the ad via the chat app and finding out not only the address, but also the expected time of arrival and the price of half an hour: 40 euros, He drove to Kalniečių Street in his car. And he was unprecedented for robbing this woman. Therefore, after parking his vehicle in the specified house, he contacted the author of the advertisement again and received permission to enter.

MK also tends to emphasize that he wore a mask back then, as required. Although, if all the time or if he had taken it off some time later, he does not remember. However, he secured the shoes of a prostitute alone at home. Because the latter, having opened the door of the apartment, immediately asked for money. And when he handed out 40 euros, he put them in a brochure and put the latter on the table, along with his mobile phone. And having said that he was about to come, he went to the bathroom.

According to MK, the remainder, did not resist the temptation to see how much money is in said book. And he spontaneously took the first 200 euros in small bills. After which he urgently left this apartment. And the stolen money was later spent on household necessities. Mainly for food.

Foreign shadow

A Ukrainian citizen filed a lawsuit against MK 10,500 euros. Just for experiencing a great scare, after which he not only took sedatives, but even slept with a gas can, he asks the defendant for stealing 10,000 from him. moral consideration.

Believing in the Ukrainian, not the MK, forces law enforcement officers to do so as well. He has already been convicted in both Lithuania and Great Britain.

MK himself responded to the question whether he had availed himself of the protection provided by the victim at that time and, as many times as has already been the case, he refused. And this leaves room for the version that he appeared at this Ukrainian’s house in Kaunas not by chance, because he knew him before, during the aforementioned business trips abroad.

However, it seems that by spontaneously preparing or committing this crime, as stated by the defendant himself, it was likely that the victim would not go to the police because he himself was involved in the prohibited.

The Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Lithuania establishes responsibility for both prostitution and paid use of prostitution services. For the first time, both face a fine of 90 to 140 euros. For a repeated case: from 140 to 300 euros.

Whether the Ukrainian citizen was punished for engaging in prostitution could not be answered by the prosecutor who referred the case to court.

Biography – Iskalbing

The law enforcement biography forces this to believe in the Ukrainian, not the MK. He has already been convicted in both Lithuania and Great Britain.

In Lithuania, MK began to think about the thresholds of the courts when he was a minor. At the age of fifteen, the Jonava District Court convicted him of burglary, by the way, and of breaking into a house.

And the verdict handed down to the MK in 2013 in the UK is clear evidence that it is also prone to violence. The court in that country sentenced MK to 97 months in prison for serious bodily injury, misfortune or total inability to work.

MK is awaiting sentencing from the Kaunas District Court, to which his new case has been transferred. Upon release, you are given a written commitment not to leave your place of residence and an obligation to regularly register with the police.
