The compositions that young people who have recently started their own business eat – Valeria and Julius are not only colorful, but also edible.
He traded in his avionics studies for the love of flowers.
Young people realized that it was not easy to set up their own business in Vilnius. The beginning was especially difficult, when there is a great desire to realize your visions and dreams, but there is a lack of knowledge.
Valerija and Julius knew that opening a bouquet salon required premises with production space, space for an office, a warehouse and a commercial room. It was very important that there be a place to park a car next to your store so that customers could arrive comfortably. It was difficult to find such premises on the couple’s modest budget, especially in Vilnius.
The founders of the Flera showroom opened that they had to wait three months. The wave of quarantine forced the contraction of businesses, so the necessary premises suddenly appeared, from where the old business was withdrawn.
The New Year’s celebrations for the couple took place in the hall, finishing the installation of the premises. Valerija is from Vilnius, she studied avionics. These are electronic products that are applied in aviation. Still in her studies, the girl realized that she would like to create.
After studying floristics in Lithuania and the UK, she started working in a flower shop, but a woman who didn’t shy away from experiments tried to see floristics from a different perspective: creating something that is not only beautiful but also practical.

The first bouquets of flowers were created for friends and family, and they were quickly loved by others. This has led him to dive right into business, to discard the exact sciences that are not attractive to the creative soul. In Vilnius, he met like-minded Julius, who was traveling from Klaipeda to the capital in search of happiness and wanted to distance himself from his parents.
Favorite – sausage
There are many photos on social media with beautiful creations by Flera. Valerija was glad that the majority of supporters and trustees received sweet fruits, berries or bouquets, but reality showed that Lithuanians mostly buy sausages.
Now the young people already have two helpers. Together they create 10-12 bouquets a day, more on the weekends.
Not only individual orders, but also company subscriptions help a newly established company to stay in the market. They are willing to collaborate with entrepreneurs who send unique bouquets to their employees on the occasion of their birthday. Once a month, there are compatible dates to make and deliver bouquets of flowers to the business. As a result, the young couple have been subject to VAT for the third month in a row, which would seem almost impossible for a newly established company during quarantine.
“We have a lot of experience in the implementation of large orders and in the production and delivery of bouquets of different complexity,” said the interlocutors, proud to recall the great challenge of producing 150 bouquets in just three days.
It is best consumed daily
“The ingredients of all the compositions are fresh and carefully selected; we do not use harmful substances such as glue in the production. The compositions are reinforced with a bamboo stick,” said Valerija, founder of Flera’s edible bouquet salon, about her work.
Bouquet makers reveal that their creations are best consumed on a daily basis, because dried sausages can change color when kept longer, and the fruit is best eaten fresh.

To avoid misunderstandings at work, and especially when new people started working, bouquets of tech cards were created. But even if you follow the exact same instructions, no two bouquets will be the same. Because in each of them the fruits differ in their shape, size, color, composition, they feel the mood of the creator.
Young entrepreneurs would like to have their own handmade bouquets outside of Vilnius, but the most important thing for them is quality. Unfortunately, the messengers do not always save, it happens that the fruit and decorations fall off. Therefore, the bouquets they produce are delivered to the place of order by themselves, they work with a single reliable courier.

Young people do not stop dreaming, they would like to install similar salons in Klaipeda or Kaunas in the future. “When you have a favorite activity, you don’t count your work hours. We work 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In the salon we create, produce, manage affairs, and when we return home, we look for the latest information in Internet. It is a job and a hobby in which you simply live, “opened the industry manufacturers.
