The great advantage is that those who want to experience the atmosphere of these countries will not have to fly and travel thousands of kilometers. There are seven entertainment areas on the Italian weekend.
The first weekend of the project, from June 5 to 7, will invite Lithuanians to experience an Italian vacation in Vilnius. During the event, the city will not only host seven venues featuring Italian culture, but will also return to Street Music Day, which was popular with Vilnius residents, but was postponed this spring due to quarantine. The artists will be located in the Vincas Kudirka Square.
“This is the first time in the history of Street Music Day that it could not happen in May. Therefore, we are very pleased to bring at least a small part of the spirit of this celebration to Kudirka Square,” said Viktorija Mamontovaitė, the organizer of Street Music Day.
Visitors will get to know Italian culture in detail at Konstantinas Sirvydas Square: Italian language classes, lectures on Italian architecture, customs and traditions will be held, Italian musical artists will present their works, Italian books will be read and other activities will be organized cognitive for families.
