According to him, the goal is to make the name of the university more understandable and acceptable to the international public.
According to A. Daniūnas, almost a third of all study programs at the university are conducted in English, and students from abroad last year accounted for 13.5 percent. students.
“The combination of a country or capital and technology on behalf of a university is well recognized around the world and clearly shows the orientation of the university, and (new name: BNS) is easy to apply and understand in Lithuanian and English”, said the rector.
