What can be emphasized is that the number of patients who need oxygen therapy, but those who would need artificial lung ventilation, is not growing dramatically.

The minister emphasized that the situation is deteriorating daily and called for the necessary recommendations to be followed.

He recalled wearing masks even in situations where people are unsure whether it is an obligation or a recommendation.

“If you interact with people who are not your co-workers or family members, it would be nice if you put on a mask, don’t forget to wash, sanitize your hands when possible and keep a physical distance,” Veryga said.

He asked to trust science rather than conspiracy theories.

The minister also invited the residents of Raseiniai, where the virus is spreading with great force, to listen to the calls of specialists to carry out the test. At the same time, he recalled that he had been commissioned to create a new mobile point.
