According to A. Veryga, only people with adequate competence can contact the sick.
“Taking tests is not just about coming and looking somewhere. You also need to have competence and understanding to walk around the rooms where infected people live, to take samples,” said A. Veryga.
“If you forgot what the mobile point looks like, how the staff taking those samples dresses, I would advise the municipal representatives to perhaps go and remember how everything looks. This should be done under exactly the same conditions in these care institutions, “he added.
The Minister urges the Vilnius municipality not to politicize, make accusations, but to participate in real work.
“Once again, I would ask the municipality to stop politicizing and launching charges, and to do real work. And if you don’t know how to do it, just ask how to do it. There will definitely be someone to say it,” said A. Veryga.
