The minister noted that not only is the total number of new cases of coronavirus increasing, but also the percentage of infected.

In recent days, the number of newly detected COVID-19 cases has increased every day in Lithuania. On the last day, 311 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the country.

Of these, 170 are related to outbreaks, the circumstances of 96 people are unknown and another 44 have been infected from known patients, the National Center for Public Health said Wednesday.

Most, 101 new cases were approved in Kaunas county, 68 cases – in Vilnius, 39 – in Telšiai, 36 in Klaipėda, 27 in Šiauliai, 19 – in Marijampolė, 11 – in Panevėžys, seven – in Tauragė, three – in Alytus counties.
