Dainius Gaižauskas, a member of the Seimas, became vice president of the Seimas Defense and National Security Committee.
Linas Kukuraitis, a member of the Acting Minister of Social Security and Labor of the Seimas, has been confirmed as vice-president of the Commission of Social Affairs and Labor.
Aurelijus Veryga, a parliamentarian who is acting Minister of Health, also received a new post. He will be the vice president of the Seimas Health Affairs Committee.
The duties of vice-chairman of the Seimas Public Order Committee have been entrusted to Seimas member Agne Širinskiene.
Dainius Kepenis, a member of Seimas, will be the vice president of the Seimas Human Rights Committee.
By the way, the Seimas increased the number of vice-chairs of the Seimas European Affairs Commission from 6 to 7. Another member of the Lithuanian Peasants and Greens Committee, Giedrius Surplys, took over as vice-chair of the commission.
115 members of the Seimas voted in favor of such a draft resolution presented by the First Vice President of the Seimas, the conservative Jurgis Razma, on Thursday no one opposed it, 3 deputies abstained.
