The situation in companies is different

They inform the staff, then they go to get vaccinated. R. Šlepetys did not rule out the possibility that, for example, in Vilnius, people could be vaccinated in a company.
According to him, some activities in the company are sensitive and cannot be interrupted, so if employees refused to vaccinate, periodic tests could be applied.
“There are traffic controllers – like air traffic controllers, they handle all the traffic, they work in eight rooms in one room. For us it is important that there is no virus so they can be vaccinated. We appeal to that awareness, we speak, and yes someone refuses to be vaccinated, we can apply tests, but we cannot force it, “said R. Šlepetys.
At that time, employees working in various cities for Vičiūnai Group, a producer of crab sticks and other surimi and fish products, began vaccinating last week. According to the company representative, Mindaugas Snicorius, the majority expressed their desire to be vaccinated.

In the Klaipėda Free Economic Zone (FEZ), 400 company employees were vaccinated with Astra Zeneca on Saturday. The management company Klaipėda FEZ took advantage of the opportunity provided by the city municipality to vaccinate large groups. Vaccination was carried out in the FEZ territory.
