At the council meeting on Saturday, the Liberal Movement Party revealed the list of candidates ranked by party members in the Seimas elections, in which Seimas President Viktoras Pranckietis revealed and took the place.
The politician, who announced his participation in the Seimas elections with the Liberal Movement just a few days ago, was third in the list of the Liberal Movement and surpassed the oldest and most famous representatives of the party: Eugenijus Gentvilas, Kęstutis Glaveckas, Simonas Gentvilas and others.
V.Čmilytė-Nielsen told reporters that the party’s goal is to appear more than in 2016, when the Liberal Movement rallied 9 percent in the Seimas elections.
“It would be a good result, but there is no ceiling we can reach. We have a good chance of repeating the result or even improving it, “said the leader of the party list in the Seimas election.
V.Čmilytė-Nielsen added that it is expected to win at least 15 seats in the elections.
“We will have many single-member victories, 5-6 for sure. We will have a faction of at least 15 people in the Seimas,” predicts the leader of the Liberal Movement.

The party hopes to nominate a candidate in each of the 71 single-member constituencies.

The ninth candidate on the list is Arminas Lydeka, the tenth is Simonas Kairys.
