A political analyst who lives in the United States of America (USA) and who closely follows the situation in Russia, who spoke on the TV3 program “Hot with tv3.lt”, raised the question of which is better: ¿V. Putin or A. Navalnas?
“We remember the political statements of A. Navalnas during the last years. After all, he was not expelled from the Jabloko party, but because of racist, nationalist and Nazi statements. He called him a “Russian fascist,” said political analyst Ramis Yunus.
Ask that the words of Mr. Navaln be taken seriously
A. Navaln supported both the Russian war with Sakartvel and the annexation of Crimea.
“He has always supported Russkij mir (Russian World). How can you be a democrat and at the same time support the annexation of Crimea?
In 2008, during the war with Sakartvel, A. Navalnas declared that a rocket should be launched at the potato. This position was never denied by A. Navalnas, but on the contrary, it was publicly confirmed a few years ago.
“The question that needs to be answered is whether there is a big difference between Putin and Navaln. If you talk about Putin’s corrupt regime, it doesn’t mean that he will treat his neighbors differently.
“I call for all the statements made by politicians at this level to be taken very seriously,” said the analyst.
Is the attitude dangerous for Lithuania?
A. Navaln calls the Russian-occupied territories states that have won independence. According to political analyst R. Yunus, such an approach does not promise anything good.
“His attitude is dangerous not only for Lithuania, but also for all the neighbors of the Russian Federation who were in the framework of the Soviet Union.
This is an imperialist approach, despite all of Navaln’s rhetoric about fighting corruption. “If he fights Putin, it doesn’t mean he’s white and fluffy,” Yunus shared his thoughts.
American policy experts were also interested in the ways in which Navaln obtained information.
“Please note – where does Alexei Navaln get so much information? Who leaks information to him? Consequently, in Russia, the spec. On the services, not everything is controlled by Vladimir Putin, but the same spec. The services will remain in the power, ”said the policy analyst.
According to experts in Washington, Navaln must publicly declare that his policy is completely different from Putin’s.
“Defending Navalna does not make him a future Russian president. The president must be elected by the Russian people, and he must be a true democrat, not an imperialist worldview, but a democratic one.
You must not take up arms against your neighbors, you must not intimidate the Baltic states, Ukraine, Belarus, Transnistria, the Caucasus. It must do the opposite so that the civilized world and Russia are a single economic and political space. Judging by A. Navaln’s statements, his ambitions are imperialist ”, assessed R. Yunus.

Ivan Tiutrin, one of the leaders of the Russian opposition, leader of the Free Russia Forum, who participated with him in the rallies, supported the statement of the American political analyst on the imperialist aspirations of A. Navaln.
