Lithuanian residents returning from Ukraine from Monday will not have to remain isolated for 14 days. This was made clear on Friday when the list of countries most affected by coronavirus infection (COVID-19 disease) was updated.
Mauritania, the Virgin Islands and Guam have also been removed from the list of most affected countries, but five new countries have been added: Croatia, India, Andorra, Namibia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This list is effective on Monday, July 20.
Isolation will be compulsory for those who come from the countries included in the list. The list applies to residents of our country who return to Lithuania and to foreigners who have a permit to enter Lithuania.
Affected are those countries where the incidence of coronavirus infection in the last 14 days is greater than 25 cases per 100,000. population.
Returnees or arrivals from countries on the list of affected countries are expected to register within 24 hours by sending their data to the National Center for Public Health (NVSC). This procedure is valid for both Lithuanian citizens returning from these countries and foreigners with an entry permit.
The list of the most affected countries is updated weekly, taking into account epidemiological indicators in foreign countries.
