The list, approved by decision of the Chief of Operations, will be valid from Monday July 20 and will be updated next week.
This procedure applies to foreigners from countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
As before, Lithuanian citizens can come from any country. However, for returnees from countries on the list of affected countries, i. and. those in which the incidence of coronavirus infection in the last 14 days is greater than 25 cases per 100,000. population, 14 days of isolation is mandatory.
No need to isolate yourself when you return from Ukraine
The list of countries most affected by coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was also updated on Friday (You can find it all here) Ukraine has been eliminated, which means that Lithuanian residents returning from Ukraine from Monday will not have to remain isolated for 14 days.
Mauritania, the Virgin Islands and Guam have also been removed from the list of most affected countries, but five new countries have been added: Croatia, India, Andorra, Namibia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This list is also effective on Monday, July 20.
Isolation will be compulsory for those who come from the countries included in the list. The list applies to residents of our country who return to Lithuania and to foreigners who have a permit to enter Lithuania.
Returnees or arrivals from countries on the list of affected countries are expected to register within 24 hours by sending their data to the National Center for Public Health (NVSC). This procedure is valid for both Lithuanian citizens returning from these countries and foreigners with an entry permit.
The list of the most affected countries is updated weekly, taking into account epidemiological indicators in foreign countries.
