More than 2.5 thousand people are treated in hospitals. COVID-19 patients, 198 in resuscitation

The country’s hospitals are currently treating 2,506 COVID-19 patients, 198 of whom are in resuscitation, Statistics Lithuania said Tuesday.

1,445 patients are treated with oxygen masks and 124 people are given artificial lung ventilation.

Hospitals occupied a total of 7,929 beds out of 16,000. 648.

Of the 681 resuscitation beds, 450 were occupied. Of the 635 beds adapted for pulmonary ventilation, 280 were occupied. Of the 6,361 beds that could be treated with oxygen masks, 2,323 were occupied.

On Monday, 1,773 new cases of coronavirus were reported daily, with 15 deaths from COVID-19.
