United States helps Russia hunt Chechens: Europeans no longer want to give Trump data

Russian intelligence officials from three European countries have confirmed that Russia is constantly asking the United States for information on Chechens who do not like it and who have been granted asylum in Europe.

It is an open secret that Russia is pursuing critics of Kadyrov and Putin on the Old Continent.

The latest victim in July was the murder of blogger Mamichan Umarov in Vienna, the stabbing in France in January of Imaran Aliyev, the last day in Berlin in the middle of the day, the shooting of the Sakartwell citizen, an ethnic Chechen Zelimchan Changoshville.

The Kremlin, of course, has many resources in Europe to help the regime find and eliminate enemies. However, Russia also appears to be aided by a convenient deal with the Trump administration, which provides Americans with useful information for such a hunt.

The Pentagon refused, but not intelligence.

First, information that the United States, specifically the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), called by Trump, is providing confidential data to Russia, appeared on the Just Security blog.

A former U.S. intelligence spokesman told the blog that Trump had somehow decided not to respond to reports from the Pentagon on arms supplies to Russia’s Taliban. He allegedly pressured the CIA to share counter-terrorism intelligence with Russia.

Certainly not himself. Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, has repeatedly asked the Pentagon to cooperate with the Kremlin, despite the fact that it is prohibited by US law. Former United States Secretary of Defense James Mattis declined to make an exception.

However, the restrictions do not apply to the CIA, so the White House has finally reached theirs. Marc Polymeropoulos, who left the CIA in mid-2019, said it was not important to the Trump administration that only the Kremlin would win from such exchanges.

I can’t think of anything that Russia has informed us of, anything that would have helped save American lives. We wasted time and effort.

“And it was a task worthy of Sisyphus. As we really predicted, in the end we only provided information, we did not receive anything valuable.

I can’t think of anything that Russia has informed us of, anything that would have helped save American lives. We wasted time and energy, “said the former explorer.

It is true, according to The Daily Beast, a website with many sources in the United States intelligence community, that such bilateral cooperation has helped Russia detain several people who allegedly planned terrorist attacks in St. Petersburg.

Close with requests

However, Business Insider sources in Europe, who have confirmed that such an agreement exists between the United States and Russia, emphasize that Moscow is using it to achieve its goals.

And one of these objectives is to obtain as much information as possible about the dissidents who have fled to Europe from the Chechen Republic of Russia and other Muslim countries. Many of them have been granted political asylum in the West, and their place of residence is often hidden.

According to portal sources, the inquiries Russia sends to the Americans are almost always related to obtaining data on such refugees. Incidentally, the same requests allegedly nullified the intelligence services of the EU countries.

“Russians regularly block the process of exchanging information with requests from people who, as Moscow well knows, are protected by the police because their lives and safety are at risk,” a French police official told Business Insider.

Unable to speak in public, this investigator is only investigating the murder of Putin and the critic of Kadyrov I. Aliyev in Lille. This Chechen lived in Belgium and was guarded by the police.

“The Russian understanding is that any Chechen who wants to become independent from Moscow or criticize Kadyrov is an Islamist, an extremist, a terrorist, like a ‘Islamic State’, worthy of death.”

“They are trying to extract information about those people and create an atmosphere that allows them to put pressure on officials from other countries,” said the Frenchman.

Did not provide data on Russians in the Islamic State

Another NATO member in Europe, Business Insider, confirmed that Russia is doing exactly that.

Furthermore, the Alliance has already limited cooperation with the United States because Americans are very willing to share data with Russia. Some NATO countries fear that the information they send to the United States may be transmitted to the Kremlin.

If the world is full of Chechen terrorists, why is the United States only being asked for information on bloggers and fighters who fought battles 20 years ago?

“I don’t want to say that we no longer allow Americans, but we really remember the public transfer of information to Russia in 2017.” So we store intelligence. Sometimes friends don’t keep secrets either, “the intelligence officer recalled the incident when Trump shared secret data with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the United States Ambassador Sergei Kisliak.

According to him, Russia provided almost no useful information about the citizens of his country who fought in the ranks of the “Islamic State” in Syria. There, more jihadists joined Russian citizens than any western country.

“Russia is focusing on Chechens. But if the world is full of Chechen terrorists, why is the United States only being asked for information on bloggers and fighters who fought battles 20 years ago?

And what about all those Chechens and Dagestan in Idlibe? “Many men appear to be well prepared as soldiers, after all, Russia needs to know something about them,” said the NATO intelligence officer.

Another NATO Business Insider source in Central Europe confirmed that Russia uses the data exchange system like Interpol.

“It is like a threat like in the movie ‘Godfather’ – before killing someone, spread the rumor that the person is dirty. So everyone thinks he has apologized,” the source said.
